Although every baby is different and Matt and I certainly do not proclaim ourselves to be baby experts, we have put together a mental list of the good, the bad and the "thank goodness someone invented this" for our first few weeks as new parents. A few things we are thankful for is his Binky (aka pacifier), his bouncer chair, womb bear, & gas drops. Hopefully we will remember these important baby necessities I have mentioned and that it may help refresh our memories should Dylan have a little brother or sister come along at a time FAR FAR away.

Baby Dylan - 4 wks old today
Our precious angel is 4 weeks old today. He is growing so fast and getting this cute little personality of his own. He stays awake a bit more everyday. He is a very alert baby. Always keeping a close eye on when we leave the room or sit to get a bite to eat, lol. Seems like that is when he needs us the most and he cries his most urgent cry. He sure knows how to work us already, lol. I wouldn't change it for the world. We are blessed.

Baby Dylan - 3 wks old today
Wow, doesn't seem like it but, today Dylan is 3 wks old. Hard to believe. He is such a blessing to both Matt and I. We are lucky so far, he sleeps pretty good at night. Hopefully we won't be having to many "Up all night" experiences, lol. We are truly enjoying every single moment we have with him. He is loved very much. Words can't describe the joy he has brought into our lives. We look forward to all the wonderful times we will share together.

Dylan's Daddy!
Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to share this wonderful photo of Matt assembling Dylan's firetruck pedal car. He says Dylan is gonna knock all the paint off our walls zooming around the house playing fireman. I am not too sure Matt is not jealous that he can't fit in it!!!

Chuga Chuga "Chew Chew" Cake

Here is a train cake that Sheree' made over the Christmas Holidays. Trust me, she had some help on this one (thanks Ms. Linda)! The cake was made from a molded baking pan that my mother gave Sheree' as a Christmas gift (thanks mom). Here is the Railway Cake Pan:
