Weekend Warriors

Matt and I laid out by the pool all day yesterday and today, trying to work on our dark summer tans,LOL. We had a lot of fun. We actually had the chance to meet a few of our new neighbors at Falcon Ranch this weekend. They we all very friendly people. The house is now one step closer to being completed, the kitchen, foyer, master bath, and powder room floor tile has been installed, as well as the marble in the bathrooms and the granite countertops in the kitchen. The apartment we are in seems to be getting smaller and smaller. We did close on the house in Lafayette this past Friday morning. It was kind of a sad day. Our first house, sold to someone else, but the thought of our new life and house is soooo very exciting, it makes us feel happy once again. Well, I guess that's all for now.

THE SIGN SAYS IT ALL !

Hi everyone, I am feeling alot better these days. Last week went by sooo fast. We are now moved into our apartment in Katy. Hopefully our new house will be completed around June 1st. There is still so much work to be done. Outside has to be finished, alot of work still pending on the inside, and you can tell by the picture, the yard doesn't really exist yet! We will be sure to keep you posted on all the progress as it takes place.

Day 3: The crew has left the building - and Sheree' is back home

This day is finally over..........I am wore out and Sheree' is recooperating slowly. All and all, the weekend is here and we intend to enjoy it........And by the way, it took 1 FULL trailer to haul our stuff.

Day 2: The Loading has begun and Sheree' goes to the Hospital

They have begun loading the truck and Sheree' had to be brought to the hospital as she has become very sick. Thanks Amy and Debbie for bringing her.

Day 2: Jesse and the crew are back

Jesse and the crew are back this morning and already deep into the packing process. They expect to be finished boxing today and should have everything loaded on the trailer by end of day. They are hoping for that at least - time will tell. We also expect a technician to show up today to disconnect the hot tub, fridge, washer and dryer. They are also building custom crates for the Curio cabinet and plasma tv that is in the movie room.

Day 1: They came, they saw, they called in backup.....

Guess someone was wrong about only needing 1/2 a trailer. Instead, we now have 2 trucks.

Day 1: Atlas is here...... Let the fun begin

The guys are here to begin the fun process of packing us up. They looked in all the rooms and told us that we had way way to much stuff for only two people. Guess it's time for a garage sale when we get to Katy. At least this is my thought until Sheree' reads this post.

Heading out of town

Hi everyone, today we are packing up all our belongings from Lafayette,LA and heading west to Katy,TX. This packing bit is not fun. I am so ready for the new house. We have a temporary apartment until the build is complete. Oh no, Matt has noticed I have slipped away from packing and that I am on the computer. Time to go..........LOL
