Baby Dylan - 84 wks (19 mths) old today
We are in Mobile this week, Matt will be flying into New Orleans, LA and Dylan and I will drive to meet him in Mandeville on Thanksgiving day to have dinner with his family!
Dylan and I are having a wonderful visit with his grandparents. We have been playing the Wii (yes, Matt actually let me bring it with us)! Dylan is hilarious he loves to watch us bowl, yelling ," bowl, bowl, bowl" and then counting, "1,2,3!!!" It is funny to watch his expressions, especially when someone makes a strike. " OH Wow", he says!!!
Although we are having a lot of fun we sure do miss Matt.

Baby Dylan - 83 wks (19 mths) old today
Here is a picture of Dylan in our favorite picture taking spot, our bathtub. In the mornings I can always catch the greatest photos of Dylan in the tub. I think its the way the sunlight beams through the rain glass window.
On another note, Dylan seems to be eating better. Showing a few odd dislikes to food such as cheese. He can't stand it. So weird for a kid but, he will not touch it with a 10 foot pole.

ROCK THE VOTE!!!

A little election knowledge for ya!!!
Why November? Way back when; law-makers picked November because it was perhaps the most convenient month for farmers and rural workers to be able to travel to the polls. The fall harvest was over, (remember that spring was planting time and summer was taken up with working the fields and tending the crops) but in the majority of the nation the weather was still mild enough to permit travel over unimproved roads.
Why Tuesday? Have you ever noticed that our Election Day is always on a Tuesday? Since most residents of rural America had to travel a significant distance to the county seat in order to vote, Monday was not considered reasonable since many people would need to begin travel on Sunday. This would, of course, have conflicted with Church services and Sunday worship.
Why the first Tuesday after the first Monday? Lawmakers wanted to prevent election day from falling on the first of November for two reasons. First, November 1st is All Saints Day, a Holy Day of Obligation for Roman Catholics. Second, most merchants were in the habit of doing their books from the preceding month on the 1st. Apparently, Congress was worried that the economic success or failure of the previous month might prove an undue influence on the vote!"
So following that, here is all we have left to say on the topic.....
Today's the day; It's election time,
go cast your vote with pride.
Voting doesn't cost a dime,
plus the out come you help decide!!!
