Double Trouble!

I just had to post this photo. I was playing around in my photo shop software, and thought hmm, "Double Trouble" when I accidentally cloned Dylan's image. Just thought I would share it with you. Too Funny!

Baby Dylan - 26 wks (6 mths) old today

It seems like I am always posting photos of Dylan in his pj's. Well, once again here he is in them. He always takes good pictures when he is comfy,LOL. Okay, so technically Dylan is almost 6 months. He will be this Friday. Close enough to say, we have a 6 month old baby son. It sure doesn't feel like he should be this old.The last few months has really flew by.

Happy 3rd Anniversary to us!

Another year to create precious memories together. Another year to discover new things to enjoy about each other. Another year to build a life rich in love and laughter. Another year to strengthen a marriage that defines "forever."

Baby Dylan - 25 wks (5 mths) old today

Dylan is rolling all over the place. Yes, I said rolling. We can put him on the floor with a toy across the room from him but within his view and in about 5 mins tops, he has it in his mouth. He rolls from his back to his tummy, over and over, both directions to get around on his own. It's really funny. He's our little Roly-Poly!

Dylan and Mom enjoying Library Time

Here is a 2 minute collage of Dylan and mom (Sheree') attending weekly library sessions at libraries in Katy, TX. The file may take a few minutes to download, but it is worth the wait:

Baby Dylan - 24 wks (5 mths) old today

Yesterday we had to go see the pediatrician. Dylan has a small patch of dry skin on his cheek (some long medical term) that is being treated by a cream, prescribed by the doctor. He currently weighs 18lbs (can't remember how many ounces).
Dylan was invited to his friend Brady's birthday party at The Little Gym this past Sunday. I will post pictures later, anyway, in the photo to the left of this entry it shows Dylan ready to go to the party. Matt couldn't resist taking his pic. I know its too hot for the hat, but we had to get his picture in it because it was so cute with the outfit. Dylan's Mammon (Matt's mom) made it!

Teething Time!

Summer is winding down, but I am still keeping my sunny disposition even though my handsome little man has started teething. This particular milestone is one that almost every parent dreads. I now understand why. Most parents act like," Oh no, my baby was just fine cutting their first tooth." Maybe they mentally have blocked the entire process from their permanent memory. I have been doing lots of research on the whole teething stage . In my line of investigation which includes studying references online, baby blogs, and of course, the trusty ole' how-to baby guide books; I have discovered Dylan has a lot, if not all the common symptoms. His telltale signs include fussiness, crying, and needing something, anything, to chew on, increased saliva, tons of drooling, some mild gum pain, & slightly swollen gums. For real, it can't be any fun. Poor little guy! Most of the resources state that the whole teething process can go on for months, with the first tooth surfacing between age 3 to 12 months of age. He has his good days and bad days, (like his reflex). No matter what, we will be here and take care of him as he enters this new phase.

Baby Dylan - 23 wks (5 mths) old today

My,what a cute fella! One day he is going to be breaking hearts, I just know it. Already, he is the biggest flirt ever. Cracks me up! No matter where we go, he always seems to stop someone in their tracks and flirt with them. His Mie Mie (my mom) took this picture of him. He's growing so fast.

Wash,Dry,Fold/Hang, (repeat)

Now that we are back from our Austin trip, I don't think I will ever catch up on the laundry. It seems like we are so backed up. I never realized how many hours out of the day I am doing laundry chores; folding , gathering, washing, hanging, sorting, etc. There truly is no light at the end of this tunnel, lol. Oh well, so here I am, um @ 10:05 pm concerned about the laundry, I really need to get over it. There is always tomorrow and I will one day get caught up, until then, I say the laundry room is an equal opportunity area, for anyone willing to assist, lol.

San Marcos, Texas Historical Tour

In an attempt to prevent a shopping frenzy at the 2 huge shopping outlets in San Marcos, TX (Prime Outlets & Tanger Outlets), I elected to take the family on a Chamber of Commerce (YAWNNNN) sponsored tour for a whopping grand total of $10. We took a scenic trolley tour hosted by a couple from the 1800's throughout the downtown area and learned alot about San Marcos' history. If you are in the area, you should check it out.

For more information about the city, please go to: http://www.ci.san-marcos.tx.us/tourism/

Pillow Play before we start our day....

Today we are going to San Marcos, Texas for some shopping and a historic tour of the city and so far Dylan has woke us up and has somehow or another taken over our bed. He has been sleeping in a baby bed provided by the hotel but, wants to play with all the fluffy pillows in our bed.
