Baby Dylan - 98 wks (23 mths) old today

Wow...4 weeks til Dylan's 2nd Birthday! I can't believe he is turning 2! So many milestones have passed us by, too many to count. He is such a caring child. For instance is you sneeze he asks, " Are you OK Mommy?" or if you cough, "You alright Mommy?" We try to work on our manners every chance we get. I can see it is really paying off. It's cute; when he wants or is in need of something I always say, " Dylan, can you say the magic word?" ( the magic word being please) he says ....."Sure...MA---GIC WORD!" LOL I just laugh! Then I rephrase the question , " Can you say PLEASE?" LOL!!!

Baby Dylan - 97 wks (22 mths) old today

Dylan is so obsessed with cowboys, horses, & country music! Not so much into Indians; but everything is cowboy something or other. He even pretends to have a cowboy rope spinning above his head most of the time. It is the cutest thing ever!!!

Baby Dylan - 96 wks (22 mths) old today

Dylan is such a wonderful little artist. This week we decided to do some artwork for his bathroom and I couldn't hink of any better way to spend some creative mother-son time, than to do some finger painting. Needless to say, Dylan has no problem getting down and dirty when it comes to making a masterpiece. His bathroom is jungle/safari themed so he made several wonderful animal pictures and a palm tree picture as well. Then to top it all off, he created an awesome picture, after he had really mastered the application of paint to the surface. It is proudly hanging in his playroom for all to enjoy!

Baby Dylan - 95 wks (22 mths) old today

So many parents don't expect the terrible twos to start until their toddler is two years old, although it can begin anytime during your child's second year, thus far- meaning anytime after their first birthday, and unfortunately, sometimes even before. So this is currently where we find ourselves..trying to balance a normal life dealing with a son who has now entered the terrible two & terrific two stage. The balance is very exhausting but, completely worth it, anything for our little peanut. Mostly he is terrific with a little terrible in the mix, lol! This weeks photo is an example of the terrible side. I still have to admit he is the cutest paper towel shredding little boy around!
