Baby Dylan - 42 wks (9 mths) old today

This week we are getting wooden floors put in our house. So we have made one of our upstairs bedrooms our new "Playroom"! I will be sure to post some pics soon to show the before and after results of both the playroom and the new wood floors.
OK so now on to more important things, Dylan is currently learning how to express his emotions through his hands. I know, it sounds silly, but we use sign language to him all the time, and its almost like he is staring to pick up on it. He has a special appreciation for his blocks,LOL. He goes to them every time and tries to stack them. It is always a blast to watch him enjoy his playtime.

Website Outtage Last Night

Last night was a long work night for me. It was not related to my job though. Our network server at home crashed last night. For some reason when I rebooted the server for maintenance around 8pm, it decided that it wanted to not work anymore. After fighting with it for over 5 hours, I was able to get it up and going again. I sure was happy to get it going again; it is our email server, webserver and contains around 500gigs of pictures and data that Sheree’ and I use all the time.

Dylan was coaching me along for a little while from his jumper, but decided to turn in for the night around 10pm. Sheree’ followed shortly after around 10:30pm. At 1:30am I turned in for the night.

Baby Dylan - 41 wks (9 mths) old today

Dylan has learned to say Bye- Bye! He waves too. He also is feeding himself his very own cheerios. Sometimes they get stuck to his head. It's cute. I will be sure to try and get a photo of it. It's amazing how quick he is gaining knowledge of all of his wonderful motor skills.

Can you find the baby?

See how long it takes you to spot the baby!!!

This photo was taken looking down into the family room from the staircase. Dylan was hard at play with all of his toys whenever he drifted asleep.

Baby Dylan - 40 wks (9 mths) old today

Dylan is really growing so fast. Learning something new everyday. His vocabulary is pretty short but, he has the baby language down pat! He is starting to give me this looks like, "You gotta be kidding me lady!" It is always when I put him in his bed for a nap, or whenever I am finished feeding him and he wants more. NEEDY! LOL.... but that's what we are here for!

Baby Dylan - 39 wks (9 mths) old today

What an tremendous week! Dylan was so excited to open his gifts yesterday on Christmas morning. His eyes really did light up bright when he would open each gift. Santa and many loved ones bought Dylan really awesome gifts that he thought was so cool. He got a piano that does some really neat things. He is funny to watch. He is pulling up on everything now. He will stand and dance to the music he plays. I will be sure to post a video of that soon.

4 Years Ago Tonight........

On this very night four years ago, Matt got down on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage. Sometimes we laugh about how nervous he was and how giggly we got after he popped the question. It is a truly wonderful memory for us. I feel like that night we both starting floating and our feet havn't touched the ground since.
Matt- my life with you is better than a dream
I love you, Today, Tomorrow & Always !

The Jolliest Elf of Them All!

It seems like every time we turn around,we are running into Santa. Dylan loves to sit in Santa's lap. He has no problem what so ever. No meltdowns at the mall for us,lol. He even has this happy dance he does when he spots Santa. The first time we saw Santa, Dylan made a stinky little present for him while we were waiting in line. There were a few small children ahead of us asking their moms,"Whats that smell?" Little did they know that my son had a dirty diaper ready for Santa. Let's hope his name makes Santa's Good List of boys and Girls!

Baby Dylan - 38 wks (8 mths) old today

Mr. Dylan is on the move (as seen in the photo) and he thinks crawling is so much fun. He is starting to pull up on things and standing all by his lil' self. He is amazing to watch. It's never a dull moment around our house.

Baby Dylan - 37 wks (8 mths) old today

This past week has been an extremely wild one. We have not stopped going. Miraculously, we have our Christmas tree up and decorated. Although we have opted not to decorate the yard because of all of our holiday traveling, we were not about to skip out on the tradition of decorating the inside of our home. Dylan has really been testing us with the ornaments by taking them off the tree. I must admit, he has been better than I originally thought . He now has a true understanding of what the word "NO" means. We can't wait to watch him open gifts. Only 13 days to go!

Holiday Fun at the Malls, yes malls, plural!

Tis the Season........
This past Saturday and Sunday I managed to get Matt to the Katy Mills Outlet Mall and Memorial City Mall. We spent 2 blissful days doing our holiday shopping and getting the rush of the crowd as we raced to the check-out lines a couple of times. Dylan and Matt both were soooo excited (yeah, right) They both had their "Bah humbug" shirts on as we shopped til we dropped. Dylan also got to meet the jolliest elf of them all, you know who....Santa Clause. I will be sure to post that pic soon. Until then, Happy Shopping!

Our Cabbage Patch Kid !

A few weeks ago, before Thanksgiving and this dreadful cold snap; we took this photo of Dylan in our front yard. After we downloaded it to our computer, I kept thinking to myself, I have seen this image somewhere before. All of the sudden it hit me, my cabbage patch doll I had as a child. He really does favor this famous doll made popular in the early 80's. Well to me at least he does...lol.

The LeBlanc Family got Elfed!!!

Baby Dylan - 36 wks (8 mths) old today

This past week has been a crazy one. Dylan is going through so many milestones one right behind another. He has now extended his vocabulary by a few more words. The funniest (which shouldn't be funny at all ) is no,no,no. If we correct him and say no. He starts crying and throws a little fit and starts to mimic us by repeating no,no,no over and over. We have to try so hard to hide our laughs. If he hears us laughing he gets even madder at us. It is very funny. He totally understands then meaning of the word no, because lately he is constantly getting into something he shouldn't be. I hope he doesn't start to think his name is No-No.....lol.

Baby Dylan - 35 wks (8 mths) old today

Wow, Dylan is now 8 months old as of today. Doesn't feel like it. He is all over the place crawling and trying to carry on conversations with you , although you can't make out one single word. He's now entering the land of bumps and falls. These are an inevitable part of childhood, and although our hearts may occasionally skip a beat or two, we try to enjoy watching Dylan explore his surroundings and discover his limits.
